The pandemic, digital transformation and the convergence of entire sectors all present the business community with major challenges. For entrepreneurs, it is an achievement in itself to steer a successful course through these stormy times. The “EY Entrepreneur Of The Year” award underscores their success and brings their achievements to light. The prize winners are selected by an independent jury of experts, based on the criteria of “business model sustainability”, “innovation”, “transformation”, “employee leadership” and "social responsibility”. Awards are presented in the “family business”, “innovation”, “sustainability” and “young companies” categories.
A total of 36 entrepreneurs have made it to the final of this year’s contest, among them Andreas F. J. Obereder, CEO and founder of ATOSS Software AG. “I am delighted with this success, which is above all recognition of our joint achievement,” said Mr. Obereder. “This distinction may be addressed to me by name, but it belongs in spirit to the entire ATOSS team.”
The winners will be announced at a hybrid event in Berlin on November 4. One of the winners will represent Germany at the “EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022” in Monaco.
